Bears been in fall camp for about a week now.
Not one practice report has been posted on
UCA SPORTS. COM

Part of the reason they can’t develop a bigger
fan base. If you don’t care enough to promote
your own product…who’s going to know it exists?

I couldn’t agree more. Ive followed this site for a couple years. Appreciate the person for starting it. Created an account last year in order to engage. I’ve tried to stay positive. Really tried to get behind the bears because of a couple local Arkansas kids I was following. I know several others doing the same. You get nothing at all. Uca has to get some media guys posting about these kids and the team. This isn’t hard stuff.

Athletics Media Relations is 2 employees, 2 graduate assistants and 1 student assistant to cover everything. And that's if the staff directory on the website is up to date.

Like most other things, it all comes down to $$.

Understand that…but it’s the #1 sport in the
Athletic Program. Nothing else is going on
at UCA during this time. There is simply no
excuse for not having a daily practice recap
( including video) posted on the official website.

Last mention of Bear Football was made 7 days ago.

The athletic director puts pressure on that postion. If you look at ATU or SAU, they do a much better job as a whole. Somtimes there may not be a ton to report, but in between big news times, you can always do player interviews on random things. As well as coaches.

That’s exactly right. Keep folks interested in the program. Build a brand that people take interest in. Conway is big enough and is continuing to grow. Put more butts in seats. I came across a piece by Montana state where the 3 top Qbs were interviewed. McDowell was on there. Simple things like that. Do the running backs, coaches, wide receivers. We aren’t talking a lot of time.

they had a scrimmage but mostly 2's and 3's. Most of the skill position starters got a pretty good rest today

UCA has 2nd scrimmage and to my surprise
there was an article posted, but it seems to
Me the coverage is still lacking information.

Coach B said the QB is playing at a high level.
That’s great, but what were his stats for the scrimmage?

Darius Hale broke a couple of long runs…
How long? 20 yards or 50?

Surely someone with the program could keep
up with a few stats whether they were completely
accurate or not…just give us a tidbit of information.

QB 14-21-183 2td 0-int
RB-X 9 Carries 64 yards
WR-x 5 recpt 73 yards 1-TD

DE -x 6 tackles 1-for loss, 1-sack

Maybe I’m asking for too much… :?:
