Bears have solid returning group with very experienced QB, a stout RB and WR group, several of the top defenders in all of FCS, top shelf punters and KO specialist...could be much more of a game than many think...13-27

are all just next level FCS football teams. I think they could beat a handful of bottom FBS dwellers ever so often if not regularly (which I beleive they do).

I believe you are exactly right about FBS teams vs these three....assuming they played as visitors at the FBS team they would be picked by Sagarin ratings to beat a LOT of FBS teams including:

South Dakota State .....Boise State, NC State, Mississippi State, Fresno State, California. Nebraska, Purdue, Colorado, Memphis, Michigan State....IF the FBS fouled up and went to Brookings to play, the Jackrabbits would be favored to also beat....Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Florida, BYU among others....

NDSU and MSU would be favored over most of those above as well...

SDSU has NO FBS teams on the 2023 schedule....in 2022 they lost to Iowa in Iowa City by 7-3....in 2021 they beat Colorado State in Ft Collins by 42-23....in 2019 they lost to Minnesota at Minneapolis by 28-21......don't think we will see the JackRabbits play an FBS team in this part of the country anytime soon.....

Like SDSU, NDSU has NO FBS teams in 2023......in 2022 Bisons lost to Arizona in Tucson by 31-28....no FBS in 2021....no FBS in 2019....

Given these teams are not afraid of any opponent I am guessing they have problems scheduling FBS and even P5 teams...

They then get to have another FCS OOC home game and fill their stadium....
