All really good questions!! I think Sept 16th we will know a lot more about where we are. Getting out of Fargo with a win or a close game says a lot. I think OSU goes 500 this year.

I think the Bears are to win games and will be in the tournament. Pine Bluff stiffed us out of a game. This game with Texas college is like a bowl game for the steers. it's nice to give a lower division school a opportunity to play a upper division school. I believe the Bears will hold their own against ND state.

Go Bears

Get out 35-0 in Q1 and let 2s take over....then 3s.....backup QBs really need game work...get Rose and Diggins healthy on o-line and get Wilson and Godfrey ready to go next week.....

Pokes win was like most FBS v FCS games..depth....we lost four top 1s during the game and 2s played well but not the same as experienced 1s....OSU has to find a QB who can play at P5 level fast.....I would say we are markedly better than past couple years due to experience those same guys got last year....maybe not better than 7-4 with our schedule ..Pokes have some very tough opponents coming up besides OU....

A-State looked totally outclassed ....I would be surprised if they collapse this year...RWs tend to get better as the season goes on...OU should enjoy this season before they get SEC games every week....

FSU looked really good on offense and got stronger as game went on....LSU seemed gassed....better clean that up quick or SEC schedule will make for a long season....

Oklahoma State.

Are Bears better than last 3 years? I agree we don’t know yet. Besides the penalties and turnovers, the cancelled UAPB game could be critical to the playoffs. Additionally, the Okie State and NDSU games aren’t giving us much national respect. To become playoff eligible the Bears must win 7 of the next 8 D1 games (at large requirement) or win the UAC championship. Both will require the Bears to win a large number of games in a row. As we saw last year, tying for the championship will not necessarily get a team in the playoffs. The way I see it, the Bears have a huge challenge ahead and like the last two years they will be playing outstanding teams and have a low margin of error.
Will they be deemed better than the last 2 years?
It’s pretty simple;
Winning is the only thing that matters - Make the playoffs!
