Very important road test this week. Don't like the close loss against ASU and UC Davis. This smells trouble for UCA. UCA needs to stay focus and stay discplined to get out of there with a W.

You are right. The target on our back will get bigger and bigger each week now. We will start getting their best and then some from opponents.

Coach Brown said to the Bears; it's time to turn the page and close the chapter on this one (Abilene Christian)." Also said " we are a 2&2 football team, and we are going to face a good Southern Utah football team." " let's get busy and prepare ourselves for Saturday." I thought he knew what's ahead of us and he wants a win so bad he can taste it. Practices are going to be intense, I'm sure.

SUU has been playing in a very good conference (was in Big Sky) and knows how to play ball....plus Cedar City is at 5800 feet elevation....Fargo is less than 1000 (Conway only about 300)....Stillwater is about 1000....Missoula, MT (University of Montana) is only about 3200...Bozeman, MT (Montana State) is about 4200....have to go back to Boulder, CO at 5400 when we played the Buffs to find a higher altitude game.....expect elevation to be an issue late in the game....

Weather is starting to look not wonderful. Sunset might be in the low 40s high 30s. Pretty windy and now maybe some rain to top it all off.

Sounds like perfect weather for a visiting team with an arsenal of running backs. :D

First game I’ve been able to watch this year. Are we always this undisciplined? We are giving out first downs via 15-yd penalties like candy at Halloween.

These penalties are horrendous!!! Why the heck is this not being addressed each and every week! This will bite them in the a$$ soon if they do not get this fixed NOW.

SUU has a total of 17 yards and they marched right down the field with penalty yardage to score a TD. Wow

The horse collar looked like to me he had his hair. A couple of questionable homer calls.

Sounds like Bears are out of gas on defense and maybe O-line....that's what altitude can do...poor execution in so many areas no matters how much yardage we have piled up...
