Here's something to think about as UCA and Coach Brown get ready announce the recruiting class of 2024 tomorrow. Next year's football team will include 9 out of the 10 highest rated football players to come to UCA of all-time. With the only one not a part of next year's team being Tyler Hudson who is playing professionally in the CFL. Gonna be a great year to be a UCA fan no doubt. Super excited to see who all gets added to the 2024 class.

University of Central Arkansas head football coach Nathan Brown and his staff will hold a 2024 Signing Day Reception on Wednesday, Feb. 7 to announce the newest class of Bears.
The reception, sponsored by First Security Bank, will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the President's Board Room in Wingo Hall.
"We are excited to announce our class of 2024 mid-year and high school signees to our UCA Bear family," said Brown. "This is an important class of student-athletes that will continue to grow on the success we have had over the past decade plus of winning football. There are a lot of great football players that will be announced but also, more importantly, a bunch of great young men and students.
"This group of men will be great assets to our university and football program. Myself and our staff look forward to seeing everyone come out as we highlight these individuals in person next Wednesday evening."
The public is invited. Parking is available south of Wingo Hall or in the lost across Donaghey Avenue from Wingo.

CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas added 27 new football Bears to the program on Wednesday, the first day of the NCAA national signing period.

UCA head coach Nathan Brown and his staff added eight mid-year enrollees, along with 19 high school players who will arrive on campus in the summer. The breakdown by state includes: 15 student-athletes from Arkansas, six from Mississippi, three from Texas, two from Louisiana and one from Oklahoma.

By position, the largest group represented is defensive back with six student-athletes, followed by five wide receivers, four defensive linemen, three running backs, three tight ends, two offensive linemen, two quarterbacks, one linebacker and one punter.

We have talent for sure....if we can avoid regular season losses that are very winnable we could compete well in playoffs (think Tarleton and APU last fall....each 2-point losses)....unfortunately we lose a couple that either keep us out or get us in a first round game....we can be dangerous in playoffs with our speed, defense and special teams...last season had we been able to fill the open date caused by UAPB decision, we would have likely been 7-4 in D1 that gets us in playoffs and a home game with 2 of the losses to bowl and playoff semi-final teams....so close to 9-2 in D1.....Go Bears!!
