 , yes when the greyhounds get here , they are in for a treat. Heat and Humidity. I talked with two EMT's during the scimage and they said " the elements of the climate will hurt them." I was at Portales last year and after the game I said " Hounds, you will be in our house next year and it will be payback time." The grass was three inches thick and they got away with some dirty playing. Anyways I just can't wait for the season to start.

Is it just me, or am I the only one who realizes that the Greyhounds are in New Mexico. It is just as hot there if not hotter. Yea it probably isnt as humid, but its still hot so I dont figure that the weather is going to affect them.

You got that right BigTime....out there it is more of the heat...they don't have great deal of humidity.

UPandIN,
Last season the temp. was 90 degrees at game time and no heat index. When we got back to conway it was 99 degrees with an index of 105. Today I visited wunderground web site at 12:50 PM, and at Clovis New Mexico the high was 84. In Conway it's 96. I'm just sharing the data that I've gethered and also my exsperience as well. Go Bears Beat the Greyhounds!!!!!

The heat index in that part of New Mexico is nowhere near what it is here.

I was at the game last year and we sat on the sunny side where it was comfortably warm at kick-off. Around half time, I put on a light sweatshirt but still had on shorts.
