no apologies necessary, I answered thinking that everyone knew that was common knowledge, so that is my fault as well.. I guess between this board and others, I get carried away sometimes.

I believe Henderson will be a lot better this year but top 25 is a little far fetched. They got a new coach who brought over 20 juco transfers with him to go along with a QB who started seven games at Baylor last season before getting hurt. They will be no push over but I really dont see them being a major contender.

with that number of turnover at Henderson, no matter how talented, I woudl expect it to take a little time for them to totally mesh together. Now if they haev talent, and not jsut stop-gap type of players to fill in until the next recruiting period, I would say they couldn't get much worse then they have been lately. I would think an experienced QB would help that turnaround as well.

But that Lindy's poll was a joke, unless this guy is the greatest coach in the world.

It would take quite a long time to mesh together but they all played together at the same school so I bet they can come in and play together right away.

I heard that southern revamped their O-line and they have gotten some talented wide outs, how do you think they will fair this season. I know that poll has them at 6th

I'm guessing that will help some. Which high school? For those of us who havent done our background into Henderson athletics.

Actually he brought in 36 junior college transfers and 23 from Blinn JUCO where Maxfield used to coach. I had to do some research on them for the Log Cabin and thats the only reason i know this.

well its going to be tough for Henderson this year, but I'm definatly not going to look past them, b/c like I have said in many posts "Anyone can win on any given day"
