I hear Coach Perry Eliano is returning to coach at UCA, but not sure in what capacity. DL Coach Keith Wagner is said to be leaving, so this makes sense. Eliano coached wr at UCA before coaching db at his most recent stop (SHS?).

A coach short

Because of UCA defensive line coach Keith Wagner's intense and animated nature, his absence was notable at the UCA football team's spring scrimmage Saturday.

Wagner resigned last week to take a high school coaching position in Corpus Christi, his hometown as well as his wife's.

"We'll miss him, but he's going back home, where there may be some good opportunities down the line for him," Conque said.

Defensive end coach Brian Early will also handle the defensive line for the remainder of spring drills. Conque said he will wait for spring practice to end before he works on filling the position......

can anyone confirm or deny this, or heard anything about this yet?...
