The march to the playoffs starts now, UT-Martin is a very quality team. Should be a great test for our team.

The game to my knowledge is not going to be streamed. Hope you guys bring a nice crowd. We are excited about having a quality non conference opponent come in to open the home portion of our schedule. Hopefully our new HD video board will be installed by the weekend. Please don't be too judgmental about our stadium at the end of the season we are tearing down the home side and rebuilding a whole new facility. Good luck guys and if anyone traveling here has any questions about Martin I'd be happy to answer them.

Looks like we may be able to catch the game on the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network:

Really hope its a good game guys I know we are a little over matched. Our QBs are inexperienced but we have good backs, receivers, and a pretty good offensive line. Our defense is small but very fast. Tell me a little about UCA I know you guys score A LOT of points I'm guessing you guys throw a lot and move very quickly between plays.

Glad to hear about the stadium upgrades. I live just outside Memphis and have traveled through, and seen the football facility many times, but not lately. I actually thought your stadium was o.k. but it was obviously very old. As for our Bears, I certainly hope they can put sat night on the back burner, and move forward. I feel like UTM may have some surprises for us. We have an opportunity to run the table from here if we can correct some mistakes.

Skyhawks84

Bears solid with a bevy of fine WRs...three RBs who are versatile and a very experienced QB with two capable backups. Defense is one of the best I have seen at UCA in several years and that includes teams with NFL drafted DEs. Solid kicking game.

As romantic as the game at Boulder was, this game is far more important to UCA and playoffs. The most important thing about Colorado is Buffs play well the rest of the way. Conque will not overlook UTM.

So since IW isn't a division I does that mean we have no division I wins yet?

If so we gotta start a tally! =D>

Apparently UIW is considered an "FCS Independent" in football and starts the foot ball transition to D1 in 2014. I have not found if that means they count as a D1 game in 2013 for FCS playoff purposes. Bears will have 10 D1 games for sure...7 SLC games plus Colorado, UTM and Mo State......have to win at least 7 of 10 (now 7 of 9)....my guess if we only win 6 of the 10 and have to rely on the UIW win to get in, we are in deep doo. That is why the UTM and MO State games are big games for us....wins there not only count for the 7 but will get much more committee credibility (esp since road games). Going 5-2 in Southland this year would be a very good record for any team given the SLC looks better this year.

I'll be traveling all day tomorrow so I will go ahead and post my obligatory "Go Bears!" It's going to be a great game! I know our Bears are hungry.
