Offense had defense off balance. Thought the O looked ahead of the D. QBs played efficiently and we have some playmakers on offense. The defense flashed but needs to quit giving up the big play. All and all one of the better first scrimmages I've seen.

Hard to gauge our defense when that same offensive unit had tons of big plays last year.

Wow, scrimmage two our offense put on a clinic. Whoever is calling plays is mixing if up and keeping the defense off balance. Huge plays by WRs and TEs. RBs are running hard and with passion. Very pleased with the way the o-line is gelling.
Defense flies around but is still giving up to many big plays. Woodard is a beast and our LBs seem to be fast. You can see they still don't get lined up fast enough.
Great energy as a whole. Like what Campbell has cookin here!

OL right now left to right is Carruthers, Manley, Willis, Simon and Stauffer. All I know right now on O.

I guess the only surprise there is that Appe isn't listed at guard? He started 8 or 9 games last season. Is he injured, transferred or demoted?

Caruthers started all 12 games.
Manley played in 9 games as a true freshman, started the first one due to suspension.
Willis started 9 games, played in 11.
Simon started the last 5. Think he got a concussion again SHSU. Played in 8.
Stouffer started the first 4. Missed the next 5. Played in the last 3.

Point is, there's a lot of experience there. Kersh, Kloker and probably others I'm not thinking of have played and started too.

Can anyone tell me why we havent had an update on any scrimmages or practices from our uca website. Id like to see a position breakdown story and maybe something that profiles each of our coaches. We have a lot of new faces. Sure would be nice to get to know them. Come on ucasports.com be creative.

Their coverage is horrible. I think that site is run by the Democrat-Gazette.

Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. They are a joke. Go look at our roster and coaching staff. Zero updates on any sports. Sad and a joke IMO. I don't know who runs the site and does story but it doesn't seem like most D-1 schools websites.

I don't know why they've always run so behind.
