It`s 1:30 in the morning and I`m still awake. Still fired up. We`ve been home since 11:30 I cant stop grinning. It`s what my old dad calls a shi* eatin grin. ( I know----corny)
No matter the struggles ASU may be having this was a huge win for us. We were pushing around an FBS team with 22 more scholarship players than we have. Our guys were better disciplined and better coached. (and better behaved)
THE UCA SUPPORTERS WERE GREAT TONIGHT!!!
Hayden H`s mom came by our tent before the game and chatted and she seemed very nice. We enjoyed meeting her.
I really enjoyed running around and high-fiving a bunch of you guys that I have no idea who you were.
Now bring me some damn fall weather! Hahahahaha

Yeah watching the video of the end of the game the ASU players mostly just walked off the field. Had to be hard for them though. Being conference champs in an FBS league to falling to an FCS opponent..in state at that.

Then again our players rushed the field like we had won a superbowl.

Watch the KAIT-8 postgame player interviews to hear some dejected guys........FBS should be getting the message that they had better not take FCS schools........at least the better programs...............for granted. The talent gap is closing fast as all these young players have all had the benefit of the same coaching since age 7, weight programs since 8th grade, 7-on-7 every summer, spring football (rather than baseball or track),top flight equipment, etc.......the depth issue still remains and always should with 22 more scholarships.............forget to bring your A game and the FCS team may actually have edge.........our win was an upset but only a mild one...........
