Nope.

No pass defense. Very little run defense. QB dismissed from team. NO chemistry.

Hey, maybe GS backups have a problem stopping "all that talent" in the 4th quarter.

As much as I like to watch an option team when they are clicking, I am still hoping State wins. Statesmen (Sagarin #87) are 3-1 with wins over Savannah State (#247, 54-0), at South Alabama (#109, 24-9) and ULM (#145, 23-21) with a road loss to a pretty good Western Michigan from the MAC (#24, 49-31). State is #125. GSU predicted to win by 5.

It was a nice way to bounce back and finally may have solved, at least partially, the running game issues that have plagued us so far this year by running more to the outside gaps instead of between the tackles. It was nice to shut down GSU's vaunted running attack.

The same run defense that couldnt stop us shut down GS. Go figure. Good win ASU!

GSU's front 7 are not as good as the Bears imo. D-Tackles were huge but didn't
show much athletic ability and seem to tire rather quickly. D-Ends seem to jump
inside at the snap on about every play...easy to run outside when that happens.
Red Wolves ran same scheme vs. Bears and got nothing and get over 300 vs.
GSU. I'll take the UCA defense any day and twice on Sunday.

Good to see A-State get the win...with the turnovers to start the game I was
beginning to think they were snakebit.

How about GSU abandoning the run game in the first half. Their trademark. Plus they got 5 turnovers from AState. The final catch in the end zone for AState was foot down then hand down..but by a FRACTION of a second.
