27-7......glad to get that done...........held HBU to only 98 yards in H2 and probably half of that with the defense 2/3s in late Q4........Gordon had a whale of a game with 140 yards ......HBU really stuffed the run......maybe 3 down a lot but the LBs were pretty good at plugging the wholes and tackling........not sure why we did not take better advantage of that with our many good receivers..........nonetheless, a win........

Was in Houston for the game...very hot at kickoff...small crowd and a predicted hangover by the Bears. Played with very little emotion and enthusiasm but never the less got the win. HBU is much improved by the way...especially on defense. Bears started slow as I expected but put in a workman like performance to stay atop the conference race.

About 2500 attendance.
Team played with no fire but maybe it was because they gave all vs SHSU or because it was HBU. Saw very little of Battle. Seemed like we were missing some players but I didn't look over the roster and participation list. Anyway, every team has this kind of game. Ask Sammy vs SFA or JMU vs Maine.
Onto SFA.
