A State plays Alabama this week. Tulsa travels to Texas. I also don't think Texas is ranked anymore.

Anyone else think McNeese is going to slaughter Nicholls today, much like Tulane slaughtered them the week before: https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2018/9/ ... -aac-recap

Perhaps Kansas pulled one of these the night before the game?

Looking at UCA's recent history:

2015: L to McNeese and SHSU
2016: L to SHSU
2017: No losses.
2018: None yet.

So far that's ONE loss per year in conference and usually to the top team in the conference.

SHSU:
2015: L to McNeese and Lamar
2016: No losses.
2017: L to UCA
2018: none yet.

SHSU has had better post season games minus their typical last round flame out. But in their credit they've made it further in the rounds.

Time to recruit for a good post season run!

Before we get too carried away, in either direction, just a quick reminder of where we are vs last year:

Lost the best HC in league and several members of his staff.

Lost veteran QB who was SLC player of the year.

Lost all of OL except one who is a sophomore this year.

Lost top two receivers and top two TE’s.

Lost SLC defensive player of year who now in NFL.

Lost probably best DB we have ever had who is now in NFL.

Lost LB who got a look in NFL.

This current team is very young and very talented. We are going to have a good team for the next few years for sure but they are not as good today as they will become. They will get bigger, stronger, and gain experience as the weeks and months pass. And the current staff is recruiting with one thought in mind: compete for National Cgampionship.

So please be patient with our expectations and comments and enjoy the journey.
