Gets the start tonight for the Chiefs. That's two UCA rookies starting on winning and probably playoff NFL teams at the moment.

Overall good game for a first start on defense………….big crowd, big time QB for Seattle.........not your normal toe-in-the water start......covered slot receivers all night...….got targeted in Q4 for sure...…..blew one coverage but pass was long...another he got beat but caught up and stripped the ball just as receiver was trying to tuck it away...…..called for a hold in the end zone in 3rd down that gave hawks a 1st down ….pretty weak call as it looked in replay the receiver ran into this hand and arm and not a case of holding the jersey...…....….also handled all KORs.....4 for 29 avg including late 61 yards return up middle that gave CCs one last chance...….I thought he looked tired in H2 on KORs and he seemed not to have the burst of speed we have seen on the last KOR or else he would have scored...……..have not seen tackle chart but he accounted well for himself as a rookie against a very good team...……….glad he is getting to play with Eric Berry......

All real Bear fans will enjoy this video...….Nothing Andy Reid does surprises me...……..if nothing else Tre will get a peak at RB for emergency fill in late in season...………...or a special play...……...he can certainly play the game...... was he not a RB in high school?

Smith is signing a one-year contract worth up to $1.13 million with the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Smith is a nice back-of-the-roster piece, as he can play cornerback and also contribute on special teams as a return man. He spent last season with the Colts, appearing in 10 games.

Congrats to Tre.....Chiefs could have used him last season ......hope he earns a long term spot.....
