What can be done to get more people in Conway to the games? Tickets aren't crazy high or anything. Concessions seem to be fairly priced as well. The product on the field seems to be ok as well. I don't see why their should'nt be 9,000 or 10,000 for a good amount of the home games. I understand deer season throws alot off, but that's when you should be giving out tickets to the kids at schools in the area. A packed stadium is better than empty seats. Also, I think I am going to start sitting on the visitor side as it seems to have better seating and views. I am kinda tired of sitting on the upper deck.

Yes, an age old problem. I remember when we was a d2 team we had better attendance. I recall wreck tech week. I do enjoy being d1 and playing in the southland conference. I like your Idea about giving tickets to elementary students because parents would follow. we need to close the north end of the stadium. Students need to fill up the seats on the visitors side. I think we should invite a guest high school marching band at every home game. This would boost attendance. The stadium needs renovation as well. there is no reason the stadium should not be packed out at every home game. Go Bears Go, Papa

Yep. Agree with all of that. We have such a great product I do believe they deserve more respect and butts in the stands. I would have some of those temporary "GAME DAY" signs with the time, posted in popular spots around town Saturday mornings. Conway is a shopping hot spot for all the surrounding communities, yes, mostly females but the dudes still have to get out to Home Depot, Lowes, and the eating joints. Does Sport Clips in Conway sponsor us?? I had to use one in LR a few weeks back and the girl said the Conway location was # 1 in central Arkansas. I will volunteer to place the signs early on Saturday mornings. As a matter of fact, I will call Matt Whiting today and see if he would be interested in that and also a healthy donation to get it started. We all need to chip in and come up with new ways to help. The staff does a great job but we can all help out.
GO BEARS !!

According to the NCAA, UCA averaged 7,683 last year and was below the top 30 in total attendance (McNeese was 1st in the Southland followed by Abilene).

In 2017, we averaged 8,550. Down YoY due to a number of factors that I would say were that the traditional powers were played on the road (SFA, SHSU, McNeese) and home games scheduled late in the year. Being 6-6 probably didn't help either although the last 2 losses were at home.

If UCA is in the title hunt this year, I would suspect better attended November games this year given SHSU and SFA are more recognizable opponents. I wish there was an easy answer, but we've got to figure out how to keep alumni engaged with the sports programs.

I still see Nov 10th to be down because of Deer Hunting.

November? Really? Hunt much? Try October 12 for modern gun.

Archery: Sept. 28, 2019-Feb. 29, 2020
Private Land Antlerless Only Modern Gun Deer Hunt: Oct. 12-16, 2019
Muzzleloader: Oct. 19-27 and Dec. 14-16, 2019
Special Youth Modern Gun Deer Hunt: Nov. 2-3, 2019 and Jan. 4-5, 2020
Modern Gun: Nov. 9-Dec. 1 and Dec. 26-28, 2019

That means UCA will have ONE home game before deer season. #-o

Been awhile since I have posted...spending time this evening getting caught up. Agree with most everything that has been posted. Lots of things have been tried to get folks in the seats...people have got to WANT to go to the games. The tailgating certainly helped get people out, but IMHO, it does not get them into the stadium. I'm just not sure what the answer is.

Regarding renovation, as much as I would like to see some changes, I don't see it happening in the near future.

 You do realize that you can only take a doe then right? Doesn't matter, I will go both and follow the game on my phone.

I've given up trying to get more fans in Estes. The average football fans in Conway and faulkner county still thinks that we are small college football. Conway should be purple but is really red.Yes the Hogs still rule here.We should have outgrown our stadium years ago.

We've got the kid zone
in the south end zone.
I can't think of any high
school that does that.
Perception is everything

I agree. I think that does send a rather "small school" vibe. I understand the safety and security issues that go along with offering this service and it being easier to control those factors in that location. However, I think there are other options that can move that to another location.
