UCA at Western Kentucky...#2 SLC vs #9 CUSA.....Bears play well on road vs FBS....Bears 31-24...…...final 35-28 U-C-A

NWST at UT-Martin....#10 SLC vs #7 OVC.....home field gets Skyhawks the win...21-13.....UTM gets the win 42-20 (after trailing 20-14 at half)

Jacksonville State at SLU....#1 OVC/#6 FCS vs #8 SLC....should Lions win this really upsets SLC outlook....don't think Strawberry Field will be enough as much as this would help SLC later.....JSU by 34-14.....score almost perfect...however in reverse...Lions enjoy the strawberries...….35-14...all hail to BearCountry for his pick

Bethel at Lamar.....NAIA Bethel (TN) at #5 SLC...long trip from western TN to Lamar for the treatment they will likely get from Cards....LU by 42-7...final 65-16

UIW at UTSA...#3 SLC vs #10 CUSA......smells like a big chance for FCS win....hardly a road trip....Cardinals 28-24...….USTA wins 35-7,,,hoping this means that Cards have lost a step or two from last season

SHSU at New Mexico...#4 SLC/#22 FCS at #11 CUSA.....another good chance for FCS....Kats by 23-19......Lobos by 39-31

Southern U at McNeese....#2 SWAC vs #6 SLC....might be tough game to win....but Cowboys are at home …..McNeese by 30-22......34-28

SFA at Baylor....#9 SLC at #5 B12.....Jacks have their hands full on I35...Green Bears by 38-10.....56-17….Bears had only 518 yards offense...

Nicholls at Kansas State...#1 SLC/#11 FCS vs #9 B12.....Colonels whip Jayhawks last season.....Cats not the Beakers but better be better than they are ranked....Colonels by 24-21...…...Cats win 49-14.....apparently much better than expected

ACU at North Texas....#7 SLC vs #2 CUSA.....shorts trip for Wildcats but not a happy trip back home....UNT 35-14...Mean Green by 51-31

HBU at UTEP....#11 SLC vs #12 CUSA.....SLC would normally have a chance against #12 but probably not with HBU....UTEP by 31-7......36-34.....HBU may be much better than expected

Bonus question #1- Net yards passing total? 245

Bonus question #2- Which player will have the most receiving yards and how many (net)? Crossley......probably will spread passes round with Myers out....Kierre may just break a wheel route or screen for a couple good pass and runs....

Bonus question #3- Which player will have the most rushing yards and how many (net)? Blackman 75..if we need yards down the stretch, go to Gosnell

Bonus question #4- Which player will have the most tackles? Jackie Harvell..hoping LBs and DL keep the ball in front of them and not rely on DBs to make a lot of running game tackles

Yes it does. However, silver lining is that he will probably get a medical redshirt, and we have a deep young crop of receivers. This will allow another young bear to develop with game experience.

Exactly huggy! Looking at our 2-deep, there are only a handful of seniors! The future is looking very bright!

Especially after they played last night. Get Meyers back healthy next year, and these guys a full year of experience, and watch out!

Wow...……...SLU over JSU...….even at Hammond that is a pretty bold pick...that win should help SLC ratings….K-State should win but better be ready for the Colonels...…….I'll do a little research on others and try to get my picks and score guesses done on time....Go Bears!!!

Bold pick made.
Bold pick correct.
