So, if all of our programs are winning seasons--like all but two were last year--will we have to pay 10,000 for each game to be on the tube? That's a lot of money! I think majority of our students could care less that it's on the tv. It would be great PR for us but, that's money wasted if you ask me.

Sounds like a bill that should be flipped by the Alumni Association or the Purple Circle to me.

Good thing you're a member of both right Purple Pride? :)

I think it's just a flat $10,000 rate. If you happen to be in 5 broadcasts (because your programs are in the championships), it's still $10,000.

I was told by an athletic department offical that the teevee deal is falling apart.

He said there is still some hope of it all coming together, but right now, it does not look good.

There was a deadline to get the deal done today, however, I am told there is still some working been done on it.

Stay Tuned

I was told that the all mighty, all knowing, dictator GSC commissioner should have closed the TV deal already but, He has injected some new
strings to it and has things all balled up. Thank God we only have one more year of this guy. He could ruin an anvil.

Maybe Salant's biggest problem is that he's a Yankees fan?

New Updated Schedule located on Front Page of website.

Family Day vs. North Al. has been moved two days back to that Thursday night and I guess will be retitled 'Family Night'? Also the end of the year Tech game/Gov's Classic game has been moved back to that Thursday night as well.

4 Thursday night games on the schedule this season. Only 2 on TV though.

On the night of the Tech game, Conway closes out its regular season
against Little Rock Catholic at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Two things....if Conway is out of contention for the playoffs, it most likely
will not hurt the crowd, however, if the Wampus Cats are bound for the playoffs or the berth is on the line, it will hurt our crowd for the Tech game.

What to you guys think ?

Also, I think it is just crazy to have four Thursday night games.
