ewww ... somebody still uses AstroTurf? And I wonder what kind of artificial surface that is at USD's dome.

With UCA's depth being a potential serious area of worry, those two games could be lead to some big trouble.

I also find it interesting that UC Davis' enrollment is so high yet its stadium so tiny.

I was hoping they'd have at least 15,000 screaming Bossy Cow Cow, but I guess not.

SHSU is fixing to replace the AstroTurf before the 2007 season...

Can't do everything at Sam that quickly! New scoreboard, updated press box and suites, new pressbox elevator, new signage...now next is the field turf!

UCD will be up over 31,000 this fall. The new 10-18k stadium will open in january, just in time for women's lacrosse

Too bad you guys aren't coming out next year.

31k!!! WOW! Also, 10-18k seat...that is a big range, what's up with that? Have they not finalized the plans or are there 10k seats, but room for 8k more sitting/standing somewhere else?

It's been changing and they haven't really given us an update since construction started. It depends on fundraising and how the bids went - so it should be somewhere in that range

Hopefully they'll be able to build it out a little more in this first round now that they're not rushing for football season - it'd be nice to be pleasantly surprised once with this whole process
