In the spirit of football fanaticism, I would like to invite any of you in the LR area to come out on August 12 to see the Indians practice at War Memorial. Practice starts at 5 p.m.

It's a good fix for anyone who's dying to see some football and unless you guys have a big scrimmage that day you should come out and say hello.

We're a very friendly lot.

Never mind. WMS cancelled because they are worried that their new turf isn't ready. It might be rescheduled, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Well, before us there is a high school game there on the 29 or 30, and it is supposed to be one of the biggest high school rivalries in the state so surely they will have it done by then!! This is a much bigger deal than the scoreboard last season!!

It looks like it will indeed be rescheduled for August 19, so it shouldn't be a problem for your game.

BTW, a couple of stAte fans and I are getting a group together to watch you guys on the 31st. Might as well get off on the right foot.

I am excited that UCA and ASU are both playing back to back in Little Rock this year. As the Hogs are moving out the Bears and Indians are moving in.
