I think he was the one unaccounted for in the beginning. I knew I didn't hear his name at the first practice but wasn't sure if that was just coincidence, so I didn't say anything.

ANOTHER NEW FACE:
Another new wide receiver joined the Bears on Tuesday.

Sophomore Chijuan Mack (6-2, 185) transferred from Oklahoma State and joined the Bears in the afternoon practice. Mack is originally from Baton Rouge, La.

"Chijuan joined our team on Tuesday, he's in school and passed his physical,' said Conque. "We got him on the field this afternoon and he showed some flashes out there. He has some big-play ability, good hands. We're putting him on the fast track to where he learns our concepts and what we are trying to do.

"He's excited to be here and grateful for the chance. He's a very well-spoken, impressive young man. We definitely helped ourselves with this addition.'

Funny how Chijuan goes virtually unnoticed when he transfers here right after the other two from the UA. :D
He only made three catches while at OSU. All three were in 2004.

He appears to be quite excitable -

Here are some more pictures from Scout.com.

Chijuan just adds even more size to what's already a pretty good group of receivers: Fairooz, Che (hopefully he's on the road to recovery and playing), Kinard all return with experience. Ware, Kennemer, Nance have been in the system.

And most importantly for the future, the freshman class is talented, tall and fast. David Robinson- you might not know him yet, but he could be a star. I'll stop there, but keep your eye on The Admiral.

I'm excited about this group.

he looked good in practice yesterday, a couple of good catches that were contested. Other than that, things appear to be headed in a good direction going into LR next week.
