2020 (maybe?) Missouri Football Opponent Previews: Central Arkansas Bears

If we do end up having a 2020 season Missouri will kick off the young, untested Drinkwitz regime against an FCS Playoff-caliber opponent. What could possibly go wrong?

Excellent article

Coach Brown has the right idea. Good way of promoting the UCA Brand on a national scale, plus if it's the only game, or one of few only games on ESPN during that 0 week, plus with sports being non existent during the COVID Pandemic, there will be easily 100k people at the minimum watching.

If the NBA, and other pro sports will finish seasons with no fans in stands, so can we, but at least it will be televised around the country too see.

FCS Football: Projected FCS Playoff Qualifiers in 2020

Quote:
Central Arkansas (Southland champ)

Fast Fact: The 2019 co-Southland champ was the only playoff team to average under 100 rushing yards per game (88.8, ranking 118th nationally).

Pivotal game: Nicholls (Sept. 26)

They also have Nicholls, SHSU, and SLU in the playoffs.

Hard to know a depth chart without some kind of practice or evaluation by coaches.

I assume the ONE position I can think of right away that would likely be set is QB.

#1- Breylin Smith
#2- Maybe Luke Hales or Darius Bowers

I think Breylin has the starting spot likely locked.
Luke has performed so well in the past.
I've watched Darius in high school and the kid is GOOD. His time will come NO PROBLEM IMO.

Thoughts? on ANY of the positions? I know some of the other positions are likely set too. Just wanted to start a discussion. This board is DEAD.

WR will be an exciting position.

1- Lujuan Winningham
1A- Tyler Hudson
2- Brandon Myers (Leading WR is 2018 missed entire 2019 year with injury)
3- Dwight Blakey and Jarrod Barnes
4- Tobias Enlow Christian Richmond

A lot of this going off of last years stats...Could be a special group and a young group again. I know Coach Brown has been excited about the three WRs they signed this year as well.
