Just found out what Lu is doing with the free tickets:
Quote:
Capital City Classic - Thursday August 31 - 7:00 @ War Memorial Stadium - First 300 students get in FREE with your valid UCA ID.

Heard this from a student on campus.

yeah i saw that yesterday, but he could give them to the students in any # of ways, like if they were offering a bus maybe the ones taking the bus got free tickets or he could have given them away in a raffle, but they simply go to the first 300 students at the game.

So did anyone ever hear how much student tickets are for Thursday?
And do students still get in free to the games at Estes?

They purchased enough for every player to have two free tickets and I believe any staff member and faculty member as well... I don't know the exact number.

Not as many as you think!

Student tickets are still free to Estes as far as anyone knows. I believe the ones for the Capital City Classic are $6.00 maybe.
I wonder if Lu paid for these tickets out of his own pocket or used the Foundation?
Last year, Sponsors that gave any where from $2,500.00 to $7,000.00+ got tickets for their sponsorship (if they got 200 tickets then the appropriate amount of money went to War Memorial just like those tickets were bought) the cheerleaders handed these tickets out to students in the student center, there were something like 800 or more, I think.

about what? That is what the athletic fee is for for the students, so they can get in free if I'm not mistaken on part of that situation. And as far as ticket central on UCA website, ticket prices are going for 12 and 10 a pop. I dont see anything mentioned about 6 dollar tickets, but that sure doesnt mean that wont be the case tomorrow night.

I do not think tickets at the gate will be $6.00 for students.

In reference to the student tickets, students can pick up their book of tickets for the four home games at the Reynolds Box Office from 10 AM to 4 PM Monday Through Friday. And they are free as a part of their activity fee.
