Good point. The lines get long because there aren't too many ticket windows. As long as you don't wait until just before the game, you'll be fine.

But I will gladly and fully support the Bears!

Good enough for me.

And for the record, UpandIn is a UTexas fan... that's all you need to know. :P

And a Braves fan too no less. I'm a Cleveland Indians fan and have hated the Braves since 1995 but have had to root for them since they traded for my favorite player, Bob Wickman.

It's hard to root for the Braves though.

Hey, I don't want any Hog fans turned into Bear fans!
I want Hog fans to love the Hogs and to enjoy the Bears!
Contrary to belief, there is room in the Inn!

Welcome aboard Guys! Glad you came to see what UCA has to offer!
We're not the Hogs, but we are a great team to follow too!
I watch the Hogs sometimes myself, not because they are the Hogs, but because of the fact they are kids from Arkansas who are playing for our state.

Now if you gave me the choice between red and purple...well, you know what I am going to say.

And we are going to beat Mo. State Saturday.

I tried to order 4 season tickets through that on-line site. It said I had purchased too many tickets for that event. Can anyone help me out? Do I have to buy season tickets in person?

I don't know what is up with that, but your best bet would probably be to call the ticket office tomorrow and tell them the problem and then you can probably order your tickets over the phone...and if you think about it ask how many tickets have been sold for the MO State game

Couple of questions from myself and for some of the new BEAR fans.

1. I have reserved parking, but where does a person without that park?

2. Is tailgating allowed in the reserved areas, and anywhere else besides the pines?

3. I was invited to a tailgate party in the pines, do they charge or is it just one big tailgate, or is it just a place for anyone to set up a tailgate?

btw, I think there are quite a few hog fans attending their first UCA game this weekend, lets show them that there is more than piggie football in this state. We (my group) have several fans coming for their first trip. :D

Someone may have better answers than me, but I'll take a stab.

1.) As far as I know, parking is pretty much anywhere other than the reserved lots behind the west stands and to the north of the west stands (small lot).
Most can find a place on campus somewhere or by the basketball/baseball fields. Parking was also allowed along Bruce, but if that's being closed off...?
Also, people park along Farris (the road to the west of the campus).

2.) Not so sure about the tailgating rules. The past few years are the first that have needed more than the practice field since I've been around. I know some visiting fans have set up in the basketball lot before.

3.) Most tailgates ask for donations if they are grilling or something. Usually just a little jar sitting out where you feel free to contribute whatever you think you're about to eat.

Trey you got it right.
The only thing I will add, is that for some reason it has become common knowledge that we can't tailgate in the parking lots. Like any other football game, finding a parking spot and tailgating on your tailgate is just fine. I think the coaches would love to see more tailgating going on off the practice field-less trash for them to have to clean up Monday morning:)
I did hear that there is going to be "reserved" tailgating on Bruce St for $15.00/spot. That is just hear-say, I don't know for sure.
