19 different polls. Go back to mratings.com and start there.

That doesn't make much sense at all. I hope he is right though (whatever he may be basing it on  )

I think tonight's game will tell a lot about our team.

What is the "official" poll for the Championship Subdivision :) The link above showed 8 polls where we ranked from 50 to 17, 9 if you count the mathmatical result that is the actual 33. If AP sports writes "INSERT SCHOOL HERE, number one in the nation in 1AA." Where are they getting that?

That is a good question...

I would go with this one.

It's the same as this and this.

Seems as tho every pundit out there has an opinion on rankings. Kind of like you know what, we all have one! You seem to be pretty good with stats. Where would you put us in D-1AA? I value your opinion as much if not more than the gurus of sports writing.
Myself, I just like winning :D

P.S. to the Texas Terror--UCA is the only team with "SLC Connections" with 3 wins :)

Surely you aren't talking to me.
I have no idea about I-AA - just learning as we go. We've got some competition coming up that will shed more light on just where we might stand with our "SLC connections."

I just hope we - as fans - don't overlook USD this weekend. Losing to them could also shed some light .... dark, dark, dimly-lit light. :) They are a very highly ranked d2 team, and let's not forget we're not far-removed from that distinction.

I did see that you should be able to watch some or all of USD's game at this link if you click on their game around the middle of the page. I can't get it to work, but I'm on a Mac, so that may be the issue.

It sure is great to see UCA getting votes in all these polls...let's just keep winning and try to get into the top 25 in our first year as a I-AA member...we also got votes in this one.

(Even though there should probably be a comma before "and try", that's the error I get.)

I should have been more specific... the problem isn't necessarily with the Mac, but the Mac on the work network. It's pretty much any video like this.

Thanks for posting this link...now why can't UCA do something like this for all of their games?

Woohoo!

Poll I posted above has UCA with 5 votes this week, putting us at 50.

In the poll and on our schedule are:
18. UC Davis 2-2 (lost two TCU and #8 Youngstown State)
27. Georgia Southern 1-2 (lost two I-AA games by total of 5 points)
47. Sam Houston State 1-1 (loss was to SMU)
