Very poor turnout, to say the least...may be 40 to 50 folks there.

Clint was absent....understand he was at a family function. Rand Chappell spoke for a few minutes as did Lou Hardin, Kelly Erskine and Vance Strange.

I'm not big into golf, but I understand they had 14 teams participate in the golf tournament at the Colonial Country Club in Memphis.

Ok, boys and girls, this Saturday at 6 p.m. is the final Alumni/Purple Circle Reception of the summer. It is at the home of Ross and Lollie Honea in west Little Rock. Small admission charge for a catfish dinner. Make your plans NOW!!!! Call the Alumni Association office at 501-450-3130 for more information.

It is OFFICAL, my son....I'm beat....talk to guys in a few days. That ride down to Memphis from Bucksnort is getting harder and harder.

Good turnout tonight in the Rock for the Alumni/Purple Circle gig.

150-to-175....Lou, Vance and Clint spoke.

Lou said that we will play Arkansas State in Little Rock in two to three years. He also said that Vance is trying to line up a game with Ole Miss. and Rice, which I guess is old news.

It sounded funny when Clint said they moved practice inside today because of the thunderstorm activity in central Arkansas. The Facility is already paying off.

Anyway, a good time had by all.
