The AA Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to David Grimes last night at its annual banquet. The award is given to a member who has exhibited an outstanding track record of volunteerism during their time as a member. President Meadors presented the award to David who had no idea that he was going to be the recipient of the award. David has been very generous with his time to the association and other organizations on campus as an alumni. Congratulations David!

I would also like to say thank you to Board of Trustee member Scott Roussel, and his wife, for attending the banquet last night. Pretty impressive to me when board members take the time to support and attend events, other than athletic ones. It's rather nice to know that someone who dictates UCA's future has time to share the present with us.
