I remember hearing that the admin was hoping HP would provide all new HP computers in the new business bldg. Don't think it ever happened.

But, the point about supporting sponsors is obviously a good one. Remember, no Budweiser products at tailgates.

Since we are on the topic of sponsorships and donations, there is a real need for some new score tables in the FC. In case no one has noticed, we have a total of 2. Yes, 2! We bring in folding tables for more space. Seems to me that we should have at least 4 or more on the bench side. Heck, some schools have 4-6 per side. Sell some advertising on the front of them and hopefully problem solved. Just my 2 cents.

1. How much for the scorer tables at FC? We should be able to pay for that with sponsorships.

However, we have to be careful not to let businesses off easy with cheap deals. Most any bank could do $10,000 and not even sneeze but if we le them get off with a $500 deal, then we lose out. Our marketing folks have to package things well.

2. Development is hard work and time consuming and you have to be opportunistic. The Foundation and PCC folks need a menu of projects to fund so as to have something to offer every donor. We may want someone to donate $1 million to add more student side seating but if that person wants to give to the PT program and they could use it well (by the away, they could!!!), you take it for PT and say thank you. Few donors (especially big dollar donors) give unrestricted...that is understandable...whenever we have a large unrestricted donor, we should have a special category for recognition.....and all the purple ice cream you can eat.....
