Josh's post about the iPhone app reminded me that I was going to let everyone know that the UCA license plates have been updated to the include new logo.

If you currently want to change your old logo plate for the new ones, it's $11.25 at the revenue office. We've had conflicting reports on whether or not you have to trade in your old plate if its tags aren't expired... But just in case, you might want to go ahead and take your current plate inside with you.

I also heard that there were some really impressive ideas for the plates (gray plates with the new logo and other cool design features), but that somewhere along the way the most plain version won out. So, that sucks.

The new ones are still pretty sweet! Mine looks really good on my ride!!!

The wife got hers the other day. She paid the 11.25 and they put new tags on the the new plate that expire at the same time her old one does.
