Just in case any of you are interested in seeing what I have been doing for the past semester you are welcome to come out to the Lewis Science Center Room 102 on campus tomorrow (12/15). There are six groups presenting between the hours of 8am-10am. All six groups used wetland areas in the North Little Rock/Maumelle area for their studies. My group looked at the ecological health of these wetlands using a guide from the Army Corps of Engineers. The room will be open so stop by whenever to view the presentations. I will go on around 9:20. There will be refreshments, a la Aramark.
This is a chance for the public or anyone who cares to show up to see what the Environmental Science Department here at UCA is about. This is our senior capstone class presentations. There will be state environmental leaders, city leaders from the area, as well as the White Oak Bayou Management Plan (who we did all the research for) team. So if you want to come on out! If not, wish me luck, maybe a future job opportunity may come my way, who knows?!
