A BIG congratulations to all those who helped out the Alumni Assn. in putting on this event yesterday. A record number 1,723 freshmen and their families were fed between 11-2 at the pavilion. There was a lot of hard work and sweating going on but I think everyone enjoyed themselves. A handful on this board was present and were invaluable in helping to feed these folks. Didn't hear one complaint all day from our guests.
Special thanks to First Security Bank and all their employees who provided the hotdogs and chips and wrapping for the event. Michael Fowler, thanks for being there before sunup and cooking the 2,500 weiners. You will always be the "weenie guy" to those of us that know you.
Other thank yous to the ROTC guys and the Physical Plant employees who helped in getting things set up and taken down.
