Trustee Harding: 21 years enough

CONWAY — Rush Harding III, who has served more than two decades on the University of Central Arkansas’ board of trustees, said Friday that he does not plan to seek another term.
“Twenty-one years is enough time for me,” said Harding, whose tenure spanned four college presidencies and some of the university’s fastest growth and most tumultuous times.
Harding’s fourth term is scheduled to end in January.
“I think I’ll be the last vestige” on the board “looking back to the troubled [past],” Harding, 58, said in a brief interview.

Thank you for your service Rush. No one can or ever will be able to question your love for your alma mater.
