UCA Athletic signs deal with management company

The market presence portion of the agreement provides for the building of an enhanced radio or television network and two seasonal marketing associates to enrich market presence in the Conway-to-Little Rock corridor.

The story at UCA is a great one to tell and we are excited to lean on the ‘Four Focus Areas of UCA Athletics’: Student-Athlete Success, Building and Enhancing Facilities, Community Service and Following the NCAA Division I Principles.

This deal was long overdue...thankfully it has finally happened. Congrats to
everyone who had a hand in this. For sure Dr. Teague and his staff. This could
be a major coup for UCA Athletics.

For the past week I was thinking about posting about the Geographic footprint of our Radio Broadcasts and our Television coverage. But I withheld because I needed to do my research first.

Clearly this is a step in the right direction to broaden our coverage area, broadcast more games, and promote UCA Athletics accross the region.

I can pick up KUCA at the Levy exit in NLR then it fades.

I can pick up KUCA on LRAFB loud and clear. So can the troops and they listen to daily. =D>

I can pick up KUCA pretty close to Southside Beebranch, then it fades.

I can pick up KUCA until about Atkins, then it fades.

Nice footprint IMO. =D>

How will this affect (or is that effect) our KUCA?

It also fades just before Heber Springs and just before Beebe.

Completely missing Heber, Batesville, Searcy, and Beebe

The question remains..what will this do to KUCA? sports events broadcasting on KUCA?

I don't think anything will happen with KUCA. I think it will keep doing what it's currently doing. I don't think they can stop the campus station from broadcasting the sporting events.
