Hats off to all those folks who keep this great Arkansas tradition going... band in Arkansas has an absolutely terrific history...so many great band directors over the decades....Dixie was founded by two of the greatest...Lee Wallick of Monticello and UAM and Scrubby Watson of Pine Bluff High School...Watson was a marvel....just as Scrubby is a legend in band music, his wife Margaret is a legend as a top class trigonometry and calculus teacher...
