Still 3 UCA students, Austin Baker, David Edgin, and Jonathan McQuaig, left standing at "Stuck on a Truck" at Toad Suck. These guys have been going at it for over two days. Check it out:

Wooooooooooo Austin is my boy. Good to see a UCA football alum representing. He's competed in this the last couple of years, and usually does pretty well. Hopefully this will be the year he finally gets it done. Please keep me updated.

Out of the 25 that started at noon Friday, there are 12 left. The 3 Bears are all still handing  in there. 8)

Sad news. The three Bears bit the dust and let the truck slip right through their hands during the night. The last one to go down was McQuaig at 63 hours. Better luck next year!

I know some of you could care less but there are still 2 people left, a gal and a guy, with hands on the truck. If they last til noon today that will be 4 days that they have been doing this. This might not be an athletic event but it has turned into one helluva indurance test.
Mrs. H said I wouldn't last an hour in this event. However, she said if there is ever a "Stunk on the Toilet" competition that I would win it "cheeks down". There's nothing like the confidence of a wife in her husband.

It's over! After 4 days, 2 hours, and 47 minutes a 38 year-old guy from Center Ridge just won him a truck. I think the only thing I've ever done for that period of time is just beathing!

Looks like the Corps of Engineers has put one of those Hope FEMA trailers to good use.

Only thing that could make this better is if they went with some "Double Wide Pride".

They could have floated this sucker in right field at UCA Baseball Field back in the early 90's! I know KC "Mudcat" would've been happy to get his feet above water for a minute or two.

Maybe some dry cleats might have helped Mudcat's batting average

Probably needed a pair of these too! Don't think he needed for football cause he was usually seeing stars anyway.
