A Question some of you might be able to answer:

My wife and I are moving to LR, we're going to be living on Markham near UAMS. Was wondering if any on here could suggest to me which utilities in LR have worked out best for them (TV, Internet, etc.). I've never lived in LR before so I don't know how the utilities work there, except I know they aren't centralized like in Conway. Of course, in most places they aren't centralized.

Opinions and suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks for the help. :D

I've heard the best deal for TV is 221-Dish...I have some friends who have had both Comcast and Dish and talk highly about Dish.

Now for everything else...I have no clue

A.) The one thing I loathe the most in life is commuting. So living in Conway isn't an option, and with $4.50/gal gas coming soon, who would seriously consider it?

B.) I already know to get my chips and red dip @ Mexico Chiquito. Been eating there since I was a kid. I've been to LR before, I just haven't lived there :D

I've never heard of 221-Dish..... guess I could look in to it. A big plus for me is I can walk to War Memorial for the UCA game there this fall. That will be nice. Are we going to tailgate @ that game?

Why heck yes! Or at least I'm going to be! Heck I propose we make Markam look like Bruce St. on gameday!! Even with the Bear march :D

And as far as the 221-Dish post they do have more HD channels than comcast! I also know a good to brake and tire shop known as "All about tire and breaks" :D
