Legendary Australian rockers AC/DC will hit the video game market in November. The game can be played on Rock Band or Rock Band 2. It will be sold exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, or Wal-Mart online store. The X-Box 360 and Playstation 3 games will sell for $39.88, and Playstation 2 for $29.88, and arrive on Sunday, November 2nd. The Wii version will come out 2 weeks later, on the 16th, and will also sell for $39.88.
This is a tie-in with the new AC/DC cd "Black Ice", which Wal-Mart will release on October 28th.

The Aerosmith video game, which released earlier this year for Guitar Hero, has sold over 1 million copies. And Metallica will release theirs in 2009.

ROCK ON!!!

I think AC/DC might possibly be the most overrated rock group in the history of rock music. I also thought Aerosmith was an odd choice for an entire Guitar Hero game.

Overrated?! Are you trying to get under my skin?!
What would rock be without Thunderstruck, Back In Black, Hells Bells, the list goes on.
Maybe it's time for you to put the leisure suit, platform shoes, and Bee Gees records away. And in case you haven't noticed, Elvis is dead.
Overrated? No, I would say that title goes to The Beatles.
Thanks for the best laugh I've had all day.

Hopefully jpeepz doesn't read this. He will probably cry from laughter as well.

Hey, Painted Fan, I've heard that AC/DC will be making a tour stop in Little Rock... according to the source, an announcement will be coming soon.

they just announced it this morning, even though they had been running promos for it on The Buzz for a few weeks now.

No reason to get under you skin, I just think AC/DC is overrated and have never cared for them. I'm definitely not a fan of the BeeGees though and I believe Elvis is overrated as well.

Big Beatles fan though, doesn't get too much better than that.

AC/DC will play at Alltel Arena at 8:00 pm Wednesday, 1/28/09.
I went to stubhub to check on tickets. They start at $155 each for upper deck, and go to $610 each for lower deck. I wonder what the floor seats are going for?!
I did see some other shows around the country going for upwards of $8,000 each!
Oh well, I'll just sit at home and listen to my CD's.
Must be nice to be wealthy!

Ok, I can't stand idly by for this. I think it is best said that you don't enjoy AC/DC or "get" them.

As it stands, "Back in Black" is the all-time 5th best selling album in America and 2nd in the world. So I think its obvious that they are not overrated. I would say most of the time they are overlooked and underrated. Freakin' Air Supply made the "Rock n' Roll" Hall of Fame before they did and they were on the same ballot.

Anyway... not an attack just had to defend one of my favorite bands.

And I dare anyone to not move a little when they hear "You Shook Me All Night Long". :D

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!
+1 for you, my friend!

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the game yet, and care to pass along their personal review?

If you were referring to the American Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Air Supply hasn't been inducted, and I doubt they ever will.

But, I know AC/DC and Air Supply are both Australian bands, so you might be referring to a rock hall of fame I'm not familiar with.
