I'm kinda pissed that Conway didn't get any of the $3B in pork headed to Arkansas.

What's even sadder is, there's nothing for the rural areas that could use the infrastructure the most.

Check out the difference between W. Virginia and Illinois.

If you highlight a project, you can read the details and submit your vote.

You do realize that this list is just simply projects submitted by the mayors of the towns listed. They are requests for money.

Don't like that Conway isn't on the list??

Take it up with Tab.

The website is not the complete list of submitted projects for Arkansas. Conway submitted a list of 10-12 projects in January through the state - the state was co-ordinating city lists to send to D.C.

Conway's list included a variety of things including street projects, parking deck, parks and the airport.

It's fun to go vote "yes" on a bunch of stuff just to throw off the numbers :D

Oh, I'm so irresponsible...

Assistant to the Mayor Jack Bell said that of 12 "top infrastructure projects," the proposed new airport in the Lollie Bottoms area has the potential to benefit most from this federal funding, as it has been approved for both construction and engineering.

WOW. Now that's going to really benefit the majority of Faulkner County and Conway residents.

Yeah, spend the money in a flood plain, then watch the money float away in flood insurance.
