Congrats to Kris. I'm very happy for him. I even broke down and voted for the kid. First time ever to vote on Idol for me.

However, he was on the Buzz again this morning talking about the Razorbacks. It sure is sad that UCA donated their facilities over and over again for watch parties and concerts for an alum that just can't get enough of those piggies and isn't afraid to say it. Truly sad. Get a clue Kris. Try dancing with who brought you to the dance. You seem like such a nice guy. Show some love.

FF....I listened to the interview in studio this morning and must have missed him talking about the razorpiggies....I don't recall him saying anything about them, but then again I heard a lot of Tommy talking and not much Kris

Bazzel stated that since Kris was such a Hog fan, he should tell Bobby Petrino he wanted a lifetime sideline pass. Kris also stated that all of Arkansas got behind him just like they do for the Razorbacks.

I had to turn it off before it was over but I assume he didn't say any thank yous to UCA?

Why can't people be grateful to the people/places that get them to where they are! I mean UCA hosted numerous watch/vote parties and the entire campus was behind him...but I haven't heard him say one thing about UCA!

Didn't hear the interview, and he certainly owes a lot to the UCA students who voted and voted and voted each week.

But the guy did marry a homecoming queen from UA-F.

Again, not saying he isn't wrong for the lack of acknowledgment toward his alma mater.

Kris continued his lack of "UCA" anything on Leno last night.

A: I am a huge sports fan. I grew up playing sports, like I'm a big, huge Razorbacks fan. That's kind of my life during football season, for sure.

Two days after he wins and everyone's writing him off already? I'm pretty sure every single time he's been interviewed on TV so far he talks about CONWAY, AR. Give it time fellas. Give it time.

And I saw the Leno interview. He didn't mention UCA. NOR did he mention anything about Fayetteville, except to say that he and his wife "went to different schools." He did however talk about CONWAY quite a bit. C'mon guys. Whether he talks about the Hogs or not, when people look up info on him, it will say that he was a student at UCA. That he lives in Conway. Just because he's not bleeding Purple and Gray every time he's on TV doesn't mean he's not generating some serious positive publicity for our school. Let's face it, not every UCA fan is as die hard as we are.

True. He is a great guy, I am sure, and is going to be a great ambassador for the state and the city of Conway, but he could at least mention UCA on occasion.

And hopefully he will, Josh. I'm just saying, he's going to have MANY more occassions to do just that. Let's hold off on the knee-jerk reactions after one radio interview and an appearance on Leno. I'm sure he's aware (and will be reminded) of the thousands of people who got together from UCA every week to vote for him. If he doesn't, then I'll take issue with that.
