Dear BMB,

Rotate 180 degrees and keep playing for the OTHER home side.  I don't think we actually have a visitors side at Estes. We have a visitors section of the OTHER home side..  Guess as a student I'll have to buy my ticket to the home side if I want to hear the band. 8)

once in a while thats ok...but as BMB Rocks and Trey have pointed out, I think it is pretty much common tradition around the band world to a vast majority of the time to play to the 'home' side. BMB does a great job playing to whatever side they are facing however, so just keep doing what you are doing!

A movement, probably not. But I can't tell you how many times I heard "why don't they face this way" or "what about the students?" during the game. .......and no, I wasn't the one saying it. It's just something I noticed while standing and cheering on the "student" side.

Maybe a "swap day" game needs to be done. Let some of those on the west side swap tickets with students on the east side. Reckon any of the students would be willing to sit amongst the blue hairs? 8)

To me, the halftime performance is a bit too noisy to enjoy (I sit in the student section). This is why I really enjoy the 5th quarter as the family is waiting on my son-in-law after the game. And I don't have to worry about their backs being to me. I walk over to the west side and enjoy the show first hand. It's as though they're giving me my own personal concert.
Keep up the great work! BMB ROCKS!!!

I probably know a few that would give it a shot, including yours and Mrs. yours truly. We're a wild and crazy couple.

Could the band play facing the students and general admission/visitor side? Those are paying tix too!

SOLUTION: 1.) Build stands in the North Endzone
2.) Put BMB in North Endzone Stands
3.) BMB is easily heard by both East & West Side

C'mon, it gets at what we all really want, anyway :D

Very nice! This also would free up more room for students, fans who didnt get ticks to the other side, and visitors.

Hate to disappoint you guys but all indications are you are going to see some kind of "luxury" box expansion before you see the cheap seats expansion. I'd rather see the cheap seats expansion but no one has asked for my advice - yet.

luxury boxes open up seats, so in essence it does expand the cheap seats.

Also, the money it generates might help pay for future cheap seat expansion.

By what, maybe a 100? That's more or less just moving a few people around.
