The guy likes to win and he probably figured out Harding will never be a steady winner in the Gulf South.
Also, the salary may be better at Nashville.

I would think the CAC salary was higher than the Harding assistant job too though.

Coach Perry is a fine man and a good football coach. He will find some new fishing holes in SW Ark.
Interesting choice after all the water under the bridge with Nashville/CAC over the years.
He may want some of that state retirement benefit that wasn't able to get from CAC or Harding.
