We are only about $50 trillion underwater now...what's another couple trillion....we need to start learning Chinese to be able to tak to our banker better....

Trey you are correct...I just don't understand how you can pass a bill like this that is going to add another trillion to the debt. I guess they just see "trillion" as a word, I mean a trillion is chump change right?

Here's my question: Is the President/Senators/Reps all going to be under the same health care plan as the rest of us? If not, this goes against Amendment 28 of our Contitution.

No. My understanding is they have a lifetime federal plan (read very lucrative). My recollection is that Dems voted down an amendment that would end that for Members of Congress. Always looking out for us.

Haha. Glen Beck must have invented an Amendment when I wasn't looking. There are only 27 Amendments.

Now that everyone is mandated to have health insurance does that mean we can do away with medicaid and medicare? Why would we need these programs if everyone is insured now?
