Play at Southeastern Louisiana, Thursday night at 7. Then move on to play at Nicholls on Saturday afternoon at 2.

Some stuff I've picked up on SELA or SLU. Only scouting report you get today on them...Nicholls comes later in the day.

Picked to win the Eastern Division in the preseason, which they are leading with a 3-2 record right now. The Lady Lions are 11-7 overall. They are a very senior laiden and experienced group. They have 6 SRs and 9 of their 13 roster spots are Jr or Sr. They return their top 8 scorers from last year. I will say the Sugar Bears might actually match up with them size wise a little better than some of the other SLC foes to date. They have a preseason all-slc pick who is in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding and steals. Another one is in the top 10 in rebounding, blocks and steals. Both are post players.

Ok on to Nicholls...

They are struggling. They have a pretty good guard combination, led by Jamie Octave. She is about to top 1000 career points, and has a very athletic family. Nicholls is middle of the road in most SLC stats, their record is lacking to say the least, but since they will be on their home court, who knows. Although they are only 1-3 at home this season. That's all I got, not too much on them yet.
