Nice to get to 4-4 in SLC play....Lucy Ibeh leads with 18/8/2A/3S/1B but 7 TOs...Lasker solid at 9/4/3S but 6 TOs.....Brianna Trigg also good night at 8/7/3A/2S...low scoring usually indicates great defense but shooting was pretty poor for both teams...maybe defense but Coach mentioned SBs playing too fast and got sloppy....SBs led by 6 in Q1 then UNO found shooting range somewhat and at one point led 36-20..SBs began chipping away finally caught up as Ibeh hit a layout at 6:25 mark in Q4 to tie at 44..........never trailed after Lasker made a FT at 5:57...got to the final score at 4:53 to go....neither team scored after that....interesting that no player reported as a center played in the game except for Hannah Langhi who played 2 minutes for SBs....SBs outscored UNO by 27-10 after the 5:24 mark in Q3.....game ball to team for the comeback.....

UNO gets the return game next Wed at FC....SBs off Sat as McNeese game moved back to March 1.... need to defend home court.........Go SugarBears!!

Game ball to Lucy Ibeh with a 31/7/2S.....12/16 FGs but only 7/12 FTs....in only 31 minutes......had some leg cramps late....Ayanna Trigg solid at 9/5/4A/1S/1B....Hannah Langhi only played 9 minutes but came off bench to shoot FTs for injured SB when game was back and forth and could go either way and made 2/2....SBs struggled out of the gate but roared back in Q2 and built an 8 point lead in Q3 before UNO went on a 13-2 run to take the lead back....SB defense and UNO in foul trouble to put this one away....Coach gave props to Carley Hudspeth for her defense against UNO top scorer....

Now off on a tough, tough three game road trip to Sam, SFA and Nicholls...need at least one win out of this....Go SugarBears!!

BIG win over a team you are going to head to head with in the standings....stats were uncannily similar.....each had 34 PIP, ACU was only +1 POTO, ACU +2 2nd chance, each made 10 FTs...the difference in TOs was notable........trailed by 3 going into Q4 and it stayed nip and tuck throughout but SBs were able to get on the right side of the score by 1 at 4:56 and kept the lead until 1:09 falling back by one...then Savanah Walker hit two clutch FTs to take the lead by 1 at 35 seconds and Charlay Conway got her only point of the game at 07 left for the final margin.....Walker scored 5 in Q4 and Ayanna Trigg added 6...

Lucy Ibeh led (again) SBs with a strong 20/3/3S in only 27 minutes on torrid 9/13 FGs....Walker had a solid scorecard at 11/3/4A/1S playing all 40....Ayanna T put in a very nice 9/9/2A/1S while sister Brianna close behind at 6/6/1A/2S also in 40....nice to see Hannah Langhi get back scoring as she goes 8/2/3A on 4/8 FGs...

Starters made 54 of 55 points...the only bench point was Conway with 7 sec to go for the final lead....
