2/13: @UNA, 58-63....never led until 8 to go....up 6 with 3:36 but lead slipped away....-8 for 3s ..+10 o-rebs....missed 8 FTs....had 19 TOs...Carter strong at 23/9....Prim as well at 19/9...
2/11: Queen's, 73-43....outshot Queen's by 42% to 22%....+19 FTAs and made 17 of those extra charity shots...Wright led with 20/5...Prim solid at 14/10 and Prim pulled 12 rebs...
2/9: Liberty, 43-74..never in the game....only 8 TOs...outshot 59% to 32%...Wright led with 11
2/5: @UNA.....postponed
2/3: UNA...postponed due to weather and TBD when to make up....
1/28: @Kennesaw State, 59-55....nice road win....led by 8 after Q3 then held on for the win....SBs had 33 d-rebs plus forced 10 TOs...45 extra possessions...although they gave up much of that with 22 TOs of their own...game won on 78% FTs and +14 made....Kierra Prim led with 16 while Siera carter had 15....Kyjai Miles was 8/14.....
1/26: @Jacksonville State, 41-43....tough loss on road....close game all the way....tied at 37 with 4 to go...JSU scored with 5 ticks left for the win....either both teams are pretty weak on ball handling or very good on defense as both had about 20 TOs and LOTS of steals....shooting OK assuming both played solid defense....
1/21: Lipscomb, 57-65....led 46-41 after Q3.....Lip outscored SBs 24-11 in Q4...even up with 4:40 to go then got beat 11-3....6 of the 11 were FTs while SBs were 0-2 FTs over that stretch....and missed another 6 FGAs....stats almost dead even except Lip was +8 on FTs made....Wright led SBs with 20 and Fisher and Carter each in double figures...
1/19: Austin Peay, 53-64...another one that got away....down 2 in Q4....kudos to forcing 21 TOs and being +8 but APU was +20 rebs and +13 made FTs..shot OK at 44% but gave up 48% ..had +8 more FGAs....
1/14: @FGCU, 31-86.....+17 on TOs and FGCU +16 on made 3s....anyone defending shots?
1/12: @ Stetson, 47-57...like running a mile race and losing a step each lap...close, winnable and a loss...Hatters had +12 FTs made....
1/7: Eastern Kentucky, 71-57....nice win!! Shot 52% and +15 d-rebs....now 1-2/6-8
1/5: @Liberty, 53-64....17/22 FTs but only 31% FGs...winnable game that got away...
1/2: Jacksonville State, 45-65....got down early and fought back early Q2 then never in the game again...34% FG shooting not going to cut it....at least did not launch very many 3s...
Ended OOC at 5-6 in what could have been 8-3....now it gets much harder....

12/29: Alabama A&M, 51-53.....led by 7 after Q3....led by 9 with 3 to go then lost it as AAM finished on a 11-0 run....disturbing trend of losing very winnable games by a basket or two...

12/19: @UAPB, 57-61, OT...3-18 from 3....maybe work it for a better shot and pick up more FTs...should have won this one...
12/11: @ Tulsa, 51-95..never really in this one...Tulsa shot 60% from field including 58% 3s and +12 for 3s...now 4-4
12/6: @ Alcorn State, 41-45....both poor FT shooting....SB 8/22 and Alcorn 9/24....both had way too many TOs....Alcorn +5 for 3s...Wright was 18/3 and Mitchell grabbed 11 rebs...now 4-3
12/3: UALR, 53-49 OT....nice win in I40 Series on Coach Marvel Day...UALR not at the level they normally play but a D1 win is a D1 win....SBs got up by 10 mid Q3 but it bled away until tied at 49 secs to go....the 10pt lead to end of Q4 SBs had only 2 FT attempts plus 9 TOs....need to get to the line more and protect ball better...only had 4 FTs all day....Randrea Wright led with 16/3 game and Parris Atkins close behind at 14/6...now 4-2....

Would have been nice to have an exhibition game this week to get some game time...
