KATY, Texas - When the Southland Conference preseason basketball polls were released on Tuesday, the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears were picked fifth in the SLC East Division by both the league's coaches and sports information directors.

Though picked next to last, the Sugar Bears have convinced one prognosticator as they drew a single first-place vote...

Fair enough...SBs have to prove it on the court which I suspect they will do often this season....maybe the one AD is a visionary...
