[/url]
THIBODAUX, La – Mired in a struggle late against Nicholls, Central Arkansas used four three-point plays in the final moments to pull away from the Lady Colonels for a 61-54 win at Stopher Gym.

Three a magic number for Sugar Bears against Lady Colonels
Quote:
Guiden and Herbert each had 17 points to pace UCA, with Herbert also adding a game-high 15 rebounds for her 17th straight double-double.

I learned, today, that Herbert's dd streak is still alive! Apparently some people in the AD looked into the game where it was supposedly broken and they messed up her pts...and it was corrected!

THIBODAUX — Sitting in her office after Wednesday’s Southland Conference game against Central Arkansas, Nicholls State women’s basketball coach DoBee Plaisance looked at the game’s official statistics sheet and highlighted two areas of it.

“Rebounding and second-chance opportunities,” the second-year Nicholls coach said.

Central Arkansas used 20 second-chance points and a 37-31 rebounding advantage to defeat Nicholls, 61-54, on Wednesday night in Stopher Gym.
