20 wins amazing nah been calling it all season long, remember that poll that was on the old site, yea that was me voting the 20-27 wins. :D Never lost faith in my sugar bears, next season they go undefeated though... you heard it here first!! :D

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL • Feb 24, 2010

CONWAY — After struggling with Nicholls and high-scoring guard Ricshanda Bickham for 24 minutes, Central Arkansas put together a 16-4 run in the second half and pulled away from the Lady Colonels to cruise to an 83-68 win in the Farris Center on Wednesday.

With the win the Sugar Bears remain tied atop the Southland Conference East Division and tie the biggest turnaround in Southland history, matching North Texas' 14-game improvement in 1986. The Sugar Bears (20-6, 10-3 Southland) reach the 20-win plateau for the first time in NCAA Division I and pick up their 14th home victory of the year – the most in a regular season in school history...

On the way to a benchmark 20th victory in a Southland Conference season, the University of Central Arkansas Sugar Bears found a 4-20 Nicholls team a major burden for the longest.

The UCA women broke to an 11-2 lead in fewer than four minutes, then found themselves in a real scrap until midway through the second half Wednesday night at the Farris Center...
