First, I think it fair to say this is the "best" SugarBear basketball team ever as to talent level and difficulty of opponents and their level of wins and we have had some very fine players over the years.

Second, it is all relative. There was a while when SBs were among the best every year in NAIA and they were pretty good or better in D2. As much progress as they have made and as good as they have done this year, they are not quite to the level in D1 they were in D2 or NAIA.

Third, the SLC is about to see something they may have never seen in women's basketball as the SBs get it to the next level.
