Herbert receives her league-leading fourth weekly award.
A native of Rogers, Ark., Herbert averaged 25 points and 10.5 rebounds while leading UCA to its 21st win and completing the biggest turnaround in Southland history. She had 31 points and 14 rebounds against regular season co-champion Stephen F. Austin, including 22 points in the second half, including 15 points in the first 6:43 and then finished with a key 3-point play with seven seconds remaining to give UCA a one-point lead before SFA's last-second 3-pointer won the game and the division. During the week, Herbert broke the Southland record for free throws made in a season, finishing with 190 - 12 more than the previous record. She also broke the UCA season rebounding record during the SFA game and finished tied for the 3rd highest rebound average in Southland history (13.8).
